Fifa Club World Cup 2025: DAZN secures exclusive broadcast rights
Streaming platform DAZN has secured exclusive rights to broadcast next summer’s Fifa Club World Cup.
DAZN will show all 63 matches during the expanded 32-team tournament, which takes place in the United States between 15 June and 13 July next year.
Every match will be live-streamed and free to view on on its platforms, while there is also potential for DAZN to sublicense rights to local free-to-air broadcasters.
The deal is said to be worth around 1bn euros (£829m).
The partnership with football’s global governing body Fifa begins on Thursday, when the Fifa Club World Cup draw is held in Miami and broadcast live.
Fifa president Gianni Infantino said: “Through this broadcasting agreement, billions of football fans worldwide can now watch what will be the most widely accessible club football tournament ever – and for free.”
